Woman Robbed And Raped In Lekki By Facebook Lover And Friends

 A woman has been rescued after she was robbed and gang-raped off the road in Lekki, Lagos when she was out on a date with a Facebook friend. The suspect has been arrested and is currently in police custody. 

Lagos State police spokesman, CSP Chike Oti, revealed how the woman (names withheld) connected with the Facebook friend in July 2018.

The Facebook friend, who was described by the police as a rapist and armed robber was identified as one Richard Samuel Gbenga.

Oti said: “They interacted a couple of times, getting to know each other. However, on August 4, 2018, the said Richard Samuel Gbenga invited the young woman for a dinner and she accepted. She further told him where they would meet before taking off for the dinner.

“The suspect arrived at the agreed take-off point in a Toyota Camry saloon car registration number JJJ 406 DL driven by one Ayo Salau, a member of his robbery gang.

“On their way to Lekki, they pulled over at a lonely spot. Armed with cutlasses, they ordered her to take off clothes or be killed. Seeing she was naked, they took turns to rape her after which they robbed her of her wristwatch and cash.

“The moment the hoodlums left, the victim raised the alarm and gave a description of their car. Police operatives attached to Maroko Division were alerted and immediately they laid an ambush for the fleeing criminals.

“As soon as the police operatives stopped their vehicle, the criminals took to their heels. The officers chased them and arrested Ayo Salau Yusuf while his partner in crime, Richard Samuel Gbenga, escaped.

“The suspect had since been identified by the victim and he confessed to having committed the crime. He added that his fleeing partner recruited him for the job.

“The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Imohimi Edgal, cautions the youths especially young women to beware of people who may use social media to take advantage of them. He assures that the long arm of the law will surely catch up with the fleeing suspect.”

11-Year-Old Girl Gets Pregnant After Being Raped By Randy Man In Delta.

 A man and his friend are currently on the run after allegedly defiling an 11-year-old girl in Delta state.

It was gathered that the girl was allegedly raped by one Mr. Frank who allegedly dragged her with a knife into a house in Ovwian community where she was raped. The suspect was said to have been aided by his friend who stood at the door and watched while the defilement was going on.

According to human rights activist, Israel Joe (pictured with the victim), the girl got pregnant after she was raped.

A petition has be written and duly received by the Burutu Area Commander in charge of the community as the police have been urged to do a thorough investigation and bring the culprits to face the full wrath of the law.

Pharmacist Dies During Sex Romp With Lagos Sex Worker In A Brothel

 The lifeless body of a 40-year-old Pharmacist, Bassey Asuquo, was discovered in one of the rooms of a brothel along Akesan road, Egan area of Lagos, Friday.

The deceased was said to have slumped after having sex with one of the commercial sex workers.
Late Bassey as gathered, visited the brothel at about 10pm the previous night, after a drink at the bar session.

Policemen from Igando division who were alerted by the management of the brothel stormed the scene, where a crowd had gathered to have a glimpse of Bassey’s lifeless body.
A packet of cigarettes, an inhaler, and a stained boxer was found in the room while the commercial sex worker had escaped.
The report had it that the fleeing commercial sex worker had contacted the hotel manager on phone, explaining how late Bassey was gasping for breath and attempted to reach out for his inhaler when he gave up the ghost.

Attempt to lure her back to explain further, failed as she reportedly told the manager on the phone that she was about crossing the nation’s border, in her bid to evade arrest.

Two staff of the brothel were arrested by the police, while the corpse was evacuated.
Meanwhile, family of the deceased was said to be making effort to retrieve the corpse for burial.

Man nabbed for defiling neighbour’s 11-year-old daughter in Ebonyi

 A suspected rapist identified as Mr. Anointing has been arrested for allegedly defiling an 11-year-old girl, whose parents live in the same compound with him close to Federal High Court, Abakaliki, in Ebonyi state.

The suspect, who hails from Ezza North local government area of the state, was arrested on Wednesday night by the security team, after a distress call.

It was gathered that the suspect usually sends the primary 5 pupils identified as Onyinye on errands and would demand that she brings whatever she bought for him into his room where he defiled her.

The victim, who narrated her ordeal before the Special Assistant to Ebonyi state governor on security and utility (Capital City), Saint Nchekube Angkor, said the suspect, who is a painter, had sexually abused her on several occasions until that fateful incident.

“He will always send me to buy something for him, and when I come back, he will tell me to bring it to his room. Each time l entered his room, he will be touching my breast and be inserting his fingers into my vagina. I don’t like what he does to me, and I don’t know how to tell my parents”, she stated.

Mr. Anakor said he got a tip-off of the incident from one Tochuckwu Nwankwegu, and some others at about 3:30 am on Wednesday, July 5, 2020. He said on getting to the compound, he discovered that the man was caught by neighbors with the girl and they raised alarm.

He said that the suspect, who refused to say anything at the scene of the incident, was taken to Kprirkpiri Police Station, Abakaliki, where he was detained by the police.

Angkor advised parents to look after their children especially the female children, adding: ”This is why I have been shouting to your parents. Look after your children, more especially female children. Know what your child is doing, at school, and in the house. Monitor her movement; it is highly necessary”

Wife catches husband ‘raping a 14-year-old girl’ on their bed after she comes home early from work

A WIFE came home early from work to find her husband sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl on their bed, according to court records.

Paul Beecher Russell, 51, was indicted by a grand jury in Wichita Falls, Texas, last week over the alleged child abuse, which is said to have happened last May.

Russell asked his wife to go to the grocery store before coming home from work, but she decided not to and came home to find him raping the teenager girl, court records allege.

Upon arriving at the house, the wife walked inside and noticed her bedroom door was shut, even though the couple always left it open. The woman then tried to open the door, only to find it locked.

Russell then reportedly called out, “Just a minute, I’m using the restroom,” from behind the door, which prompt the woman to open it with her own key.

She then walked in to find her husband naked and on top of the teenage girl, who was not wearing pants or underwear. Russell is said to have been positioned on his knees.

The horrified wife screamed and yanked the child away from Russell, before fleeing the scene and calling the police.

The child’s relationship to Russell has not been disclosed.

Russell is then said to have fled the scene in his white 1991 Chevy Camaro.

When cops spotted the vehicle a chase ensued, which was brought to a halt by an officer using a “pit maneuver,” a sudden sideways turn that forces another driver to stop.

Russell is being charged with two counts of child indecency over the May incidents, two further assaults said to have taken place in January this year and November of last year.

He is also being charged with evading arrest over the police chase. He is currently being held in Wichita County Jail. If convicted on all counts, he faces up to 51 years in prison.

Village Head Arrested For Defiling Biological Daughter

 Police in Ogun State has arrested the Baale of Oose Agbedu Ajibawo village in Owode- Egbado area, Chief Rasheed Sholabi, for allegedly having unlawful carnal knowledge of his 15-year-old daughter (name withheld). 

The village head was arrested following a report by the victim, who walked into the police station in Owode-Egbado. After initial denial at the station when he was confronted with the allegation, the suspect reportedly fainted and was taken to the hospital for resuscitation.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident yesterday in a statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta. Oyeyemi disclosed that the former wife of the suspect corroborated the allegation by his daughter.

He said: “The Baale was arrested following a report by the victim, who walked into Owode-Egbado Police Station and reported that her father had been having sex with her since when she was 11 years old as a result of which she now found it difficult to control her urinary system. 

“The victim, who told the police that she lost her mother when she was barely two years old and that the suspect did not allow her to know any relation of her late mother thereby left her with no option other than continuing staying with her father who used that opportunity to sexually abuse her from time to time.

“Upon the report, the DPO, Owode-Egbado, SP Olabisi Elebute, quickly led her men to the place where the Baale was promptly arrested. “On interrogation, he first denied the allegation, but when he was confronted by the victim and one of his former wives who corroborated the victim’s statement, the suspect fainted and was taken to the hospital for resuscitation. 

“His former wife informed the police that she caught him red-handed while having sex with his daughter and that was the reason why she left him,” Oyeyemi said the victim had been taken to the Stella Obasanjo Motherless Babies Home for safety. 

He added that the state Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, had ordered the transfer of the suspect to Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for an in-depth investigation and diligent prosecution.

Nigerian Army Dismisses Female Soldier For Getting Pregnant After She Was Rαped By 5 Bandits

The Nigerian Army has dismissed a female soldier for getting pregnant after she was raped by five suspected bandits while travelling to Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Punch reports that the rape victim was charged with one count of ‘conduct prejudicial to service discipline,’ found guilty and dismissed from the army.

She, however, declined to speak on her ordeal when contacted on the phone on Wednesday, saying, “I have not asked you to publish anything, but we are working on the appeal.”

Her lawyer, Johnson Oyewole, expressed the conviction that his client’s unlawful dismissal would be overturned and she would be recalled to continue serving her fatherland.

According to an appeal to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, filed by her lawyer, the victim enlisted in the Army in March 2012 as a member of 67 Regular Recruits intake, and was serving with 56 Signal Command, Mile 2, Lagos, before the incident.

The letter, which challenged the soldier’s dismissal, read, ”It is manifest that the purported trial of our client was tainted with substantial irregularities; there is no offence under the law and no element of the offence of misconduct prejudicial to service discipline that talks of pregnancy while in service and warranted dismissal under section 103(1).”

It explained that the soldier obtained a pass to travel to Oyo State, sometime in October 2014 when the vehicle she boarded ran into bandits along Odo-Oba road and she was allegedly raped by five men.

She was taken to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, where she was treated for six days.

Following the sexual assault, she obtained an extract from the police crime diary, a sworn affidavit, as well as a medical report, which indicated that she sustained “injury of right ankle joint with laceration and bruises around the thigh region.”

On falling sick and feeling some unease over her health in December 2019, the female soldier reported sick at the Military hospital and after checks, she was confirmed to be 12 weeks pregnant.

It was gathered that one of the major planks for the decision to dismiss the female soldier was the time difference between the time the incident of armed bandits attack occurred and the time she went to the military hospital and was confirmed pregnant.
