Man Sentenced To 17 Years In Jail For Hacking Wife To Death Over Alleged Extra-Marital Affair With A Driver

 A Ugandan man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for killing his wife over an alleged extra-marital affair.

Simon Shimanya, who confessed he killed his 32-year-old wife and former nurse at International Hospital Kampala, was sentenced on Wednesday, September 2.

The Chief Magistrate of Nabweru Court in Wakiso District, Ms. Patricia Amoko, jailed Mr. Shimanya, reasoning that the manner in which he killed the deceased using an ax was traumatic and gruesome.

Mr. Shimanya was arrested on August 12 from Isingiro District and charged with manslaughter in connection with the August 1 violent murder of nurse Violet Kakai at their home in Bbumbu –Kiteezi, Wakiso District. The 40-year-old teacher admitted using an ax to hack his 32-year-old wife and mother of three to death.

During the sentencing of Mr. Shimanya, the Chief Magistrate held that the accused caused a severe head injury that led to the death of his wife.

The degree of injury and the weapon used in killing the deceased in front of her children was threatening. No child or person should witness the killing of their mother by their father,” Ms. Amoko noted.

She reasoned that the court had considered the fact that the children had already lost one parent and therefore needed someone to comfort them.

Mr. Shimanya appeared before the court via video conference in a session held at Buganda Road Court. While confessing to the crime, Mr. Shimanya explained that it was not his intention to kill his wife but it was anger resulting from provocation as the couple had escalating marital issues. He had asked for a lenient punishment to enable him to go back home to take care of his children.

The Prosecutor, Mr. Timothy Amerit, had asked the court for deterrent punishment of 25 years, reasoning that such acts are rampant in this era of domestic violence,

“In order to safeguard the children from the trauma of seeing a man who killed their mother, it is justifiable that a custodial sentence be meted out to him,” he said

Mr. Shinya narrated that the death of his wife followed a protracted fight and struggle which he said had resulted from the deceased’s extra-marital affair with Mr. Robert Sebuufu, a driver with Katakemwa Chensire Home at Mpererwe.

He said that Mr. Sebuufu had for a long time taken over his wife and that the matter had been reported to different authorities, including courts of law, to reconcile with his wife but in vain.

The deceased alleged lover, Mr. Sebuufu, who is also a suspect in the same case, is currently detained at Kasangati Police Station pending investigations.

25-year-old Lady Murders Her Boyfriend Over Money For Upkeep In Anambra

 A 25-year-old lady identified as Oyinye Chime has been arrested by the Anambra state police command for murdering her boyfriend, a 29-year-old Eleyi Azubuike in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.

According to reports, it was learned that the suspect murdered the deceased Inside his room on 2 Sept 2020.

A CAREFUL OBSERVATION ON THE DECEASED BODY REVEALED STAB WOUND ON HIS CHESS WHILE A BLOODSTAINED KITCHEN KNIFE WAS ALSO RECOVERED AS EXHIBIT AT THE SCENE.

MEANWHILE, PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE DECEASED ALLEGEDLY IMPREGNATED THE SUSPECT AND WANTED AN ABORTION WHICH SHE DECLINED AND DEMANDED SOME MONEY FOR HER UPKEEP WHICH THE DECEASED ALSO REFUSED TO OBLIGE, THAT EVENTUALLY LED TO A SCUFFLE WHICH RESULTED TO THE DECEASED BEING STABBED TO DEAD. Landlord and his brother in hot soup after impregnating their tenant’s 16-year old twin sisters!

 Monday, August 31, 2020 – A landlord and his brother are in trouble after they impregnated their tenant’s 16-year old twins in Katani, Machakos County.

One of the suspects was arrested on Friday and detained at Athi-River Police Station but was released on a cash bail of Sh50, 000 on medical grounds.

However, the other suspect is still on the run.

Confirming the case, Athi-River sub-County police boss, Catherine Ringera, said police have launched a manhunt for the other suspect.

“We have since opened a file on the unfortunate incident involving the sisters.”

“We have received a medical report on the pregnancy status of the girls and investigations into the incident have commenced,” said Ringera.

The girls’ father, Zablon Moseti, has now called on the authorities to make sure the two randy brothers face the full force of the law.

Cases of teenage pregnancy have been on the rise in the country due to the closure of schools occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last month, President Uhuru warned that those responsible for impregnating minors will face the full wrath of the law once DNA results were out.

The Head of State also noted that area Chiefs will be answerable on how school-going children were defiled under their watch.

“People must be disciplined, how do we allow people to go around impregnating young girls, and we do not say anything? We are going to wait for the DNA and those people will pay,” he said.

Katsina Man Keeps Son, 16, In Cage For Four Years

 A 16-year-old boy, identified as Sadiq Daura, who was confined to a cage for four years by his father because of his condition, has been allocated a room in the man’s house.

Sadiq's father, Mallam Salisu Daura, confirmed the development when a team from a non-government organization, Save the Children, visited his house in Daura, Katsina State, on Tuesday.

The organization is at the forefront of those protecting the boy’s interest to ensure that he lives a normal life.

Salisu told the team, “I regret my actions and it’ll never happen again. The people, who took up this case, are not my enemies. They will live long because I’ll keep praying for their success. They’ve helped me and I’ve now realized my mistakes.

“I don’t have enough rooms in the house as you can see. I didn’t put him in the cage to punish him or because I don’t love him. It was just my way of allocating a room to him.”

The father of 16, who is also a tailor, showed Sadiqu’s new room, which is about 90 percent complete, to the team.

Investigation revealed that Sadiqu’s predicament started when he lost his mother six years ago.

Being a cripple, he was then taken to his paternal grandmother, who also died shortly thereafter.

Sadiq was thereafter brought back to his father’s house and was put inside a cage because of his condition.

It was learned that a change agent of the Save the Children in Daura, Mallam Aminu Gambo, drew the attention of the organization to Sadiqu’s plight and the NGO consequently took it up.

“Upon finding out about Sadiqu’s predicament, we swung into action by first visiting the house. We took the matter to the Police Area Commander, who sent us to the command headquarters in Katsina,” Gambo stated.

A top police source revealed that Sadiq is mentally ill, a development which he said occasionally affected his behavior and interaction with people.

The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity said, “The father is not wicked. We all have our individual challenges. When the matter was brought to our notice, we carried out our investigation and we discovered that apart from being crippled, the boy is also mentally ill.

“We directed the father to ensure that the boy is well taken care of. And this, the father did according to his ability.”

Couple Caught Having Sekz In A Car, Shamed By Residents -Photos

A couple who were caught having sexual intercourse in a car have been shamed by residents. At the time of this story, it is unknown which area the said incident happened.

From what we gather, the couple parked their car in an isolated area along the street and started ‘banging and genging’.

Someone who immediately spotted the act immediately alerted other residents of the area, and they went on to disgrace them as they felt angry that, they decided to bring their private activity to the area.

Though Facebook user John did not give the exact location of the incident, however, it was gathered that the couple was sent away after they were embarrassed.

While some social media users supported the move by residents of the area, others maintained that the couple did nothing wrong and shouldn’t have been shamed since they are both adults.

MADNESS! Taxi Driver Rapes 12-Year-Old Girl In His Car After He Was Supposed To Take Her Home

 The horrific incident occurred after the girl's relatives ordered a for-hire vehicle to drive the young victim from one location to another.

Authorities arrested Rafael Martinez, 32 of Cypress Hills. He's charged with rape, criminal s3x act, s3x abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, menacing, and assault.

According to the NYPD, the girl was put in the livery cab by her parents in Fort Greene Park.

She was supposed to be driven straight to her grandmother's home in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

At some point during the three-mile trip, the girl said, the driver parked, entered the backseat of the vehicle, and raped her.

Martinez then got back into the front seat and continued driving her to the destination, police said.

The girl was taken to Woodhull Hospital and police were called there about 8.45 pm.

Police were able to track down Martinez through his Brooklyn-based employer, Evelyn Car Services.

Speaking with NYC news outlet Gothamist, the general manager of the car service, Liz Bahnasy, said: "I can't answer if he raped her. I can tell you that I've never had any complaints about him."

She added that Martinez has worked at the company for about a year.

After Martinez allegedly raped his young passenger, he got back into the front seat and continued driving her to the destination, police said.

The NY Post reports that Martinez was fired from his job.

WICKEDNESS: Two Male Teachers Wanted For Raping Ten Female Students

 Vanguard reports that the teachers allegedly took turns in raping the students after threatening to fail them in their subjects till the bubble burst when one of the students was diagnosed to have been infected with the disease.

It was gathered that none of the students knew they were infected until one of them complained of unusual discharge from her private part to her mother and when she was taken to a hospital, she was discovered to have been infected with STD

Another student who was said to have confided in one of her friends of a similar discharge discovered that her friend had the same problem.

That was when they opened up to the serial rape they had been suffering in the hands of the teachers.

A staff of the school narrated that during an investigation by the school after the case was reported, other victims confirmed that they were also raped by the teachers on different occasions.

When contacted, the Director of the Office of Public Defender [OPD], Mrs. Olubukonla Salami, confirmed the report, saying that the case has been reported to them and that investigation has begun in earnest.

“The case has been reported to us and we are on top of it. It has also been reported to the state Police Command and investigation is on.”
