Nurse Arrested For Killing Eight Babies

 A nurse has been arrested by the police over allegations that she killed eight babies.

Dailymail reported that she was alleged to be trying to kill another nine at a neonatal unit before her arrest.

The woman, arrested on Tuesday, is understood to be nurse Lucy Letby, who was previously arrested in 2018 and 2019 over the tragedies at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Hughes, of Cheshire Police, said: ‘In July 2018, a healthcare professional was arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the deaths of eight babies and the attempted murder of six babies at the neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital. She was subsequently bailed pending further inquiries.

‘In June 2019, the healthcare professional was re-arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the deaths of eight babies and the attempted murder of six babies. She was also arrested in connection with the attempted murder of three additional babies.

‘Today, as part of our ongoing inquiries, the healthcare professional has been re-arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the deaths of eight babies and the attempted murder of nine babies.

‘The woman is currently in custody helping officers with their inquiries.’

Detectives launched an investigation into infant deaths at the hospital in May 2017, initially looking at the deaths of 15 babies between June 2015 and June 2016.

The probe later widened to the deaths of 17 babies and 16 non-fatal collapses between March 2015 and July 2016.

Following her previous arrests, Letby’s home in the Blacon area of Chester was searched by police.

In a 2013 interview with the Chester and District Standard newspaper, the nurse, originally from Hereford, said she cared for babies requiring various levels of support.

She had worked at the unit as a student nurse during three years of training before qualifying as a children’s nurse at the University of Chester in 2011.

Letby said she started working at the unit after graduating.

DCI Hughes added: ‘Parents of all the babies have been kept fully updated on this latest development and they are continuing to be supported throughout the process by specially trained officers.

‘This is an extremely difficult time for all the families and it is important to remember that, at the heart of this, there are a number of bereaved families seeking answers as to what happened to their children.

‘Due to the nature of this investigation it is extremely challenging but it is important to remember that, despite the passage of time, it is very much active and ongoing. There are no set timescales and we remain committed to carrying out a thorough investigation.

‘We fully appreciate that it continues to have a big impact on all those involved – including the families of the babies, staff and patients at the hospital as well as members of the public.’

Ghanaian Lady Bites Off Penis Of ‘rapist Who Asked For Mouth Action

 Juanita, a 24-year-old Ghanaian woman, has bitten off the penis of Emmanuel Ankron, a suspected armed robber who had asked for a Mouth Action after allegedly raping her.

Mouth Action is the activity of giving sexual pleasure to a man by using the mouth on his penis.

According to BBC, the incident occurred at Obuasi area of Ashanti region in Ghana on Saturday

Ankron, 23, was said to have entered Juanita’s room at midnight with a cutlass and locally made pistol. But after carting items including money, a television set, and a phone, he had allegedly raped the woman.

Still not satisfied, he had asked his victim to give him a Mouth Action before he would finally leave the room.

In her statement to the police, Juanita said that she bit off her attacker’s penis in the process of giving him the Mouth Action.

“The man asked me to suck his penis. It was in the process that I bit off his penis,” she said.

The suspected rapist was said to have swiftly left the room, sensing he was bleeding profusely.

The young lady, who is believed to be a student, said she thereafter went to Anglogold Ashanti Hospital for treatment after the incident.

On getting to the hospital, Juanita said she discovered that her attacker also came there for medical attention. She then alerted the police and the suspect was arrested and put under guard at the hospital.

Godwin Ahianyo, Ashanti regional police spokesman, who spoke on the incident, said it is being investigated.

The police added that the retrieved part of the penis bitten off by Juanita had been preserved at the hospital amid the investigation.

Man Beheads Girlfriend After Sex Romp In Ogun State

 A woman identified as Mama Maria has been found beheaded by a man described as her lover at Owode, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The incident happened penultimate Monday, after the unnamed man had sex with the deceased.

Sources said the single mother was a popular foodstuff seller at the Ilaro Market.

She had invited the man to pass the night at her residence when a misunderstanding broke out between them shortly after they had sex.

The man was said to have strangled the single mother to death and proceeded to behead her.

He soon fled the scene.

Curious neighbours who noticed that the woman had not emerged from her out by 10 am raised the alarm on sighting blood spilling from under the door to her room.

They forced the door open and found her in a pool of her blood with her head cut off.

The police were said to have evacuated the body from the scene.

A source said: “It was shocking to us because we saw the woman when she returned home with the man that killed her the previous night.

“We later noticed they had an altercation but their voices simmered and we thought that all was well between them not knowing that she had been killed.

“It was when she did not come early enough which was unusual that made neighbours to visit her room.

“They had to force the door open after seeing blood on the doorstep. We found her headless in a pool of her blood while her boyfriend had disappeared into the thin air.’’

Police spokesman, Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi said the culprit had been arrested.

Man Sets 15-year-old Girl Ablaze For Rejecting His Sexual Advances

A 15-year-old girl was set ablaze in India by a youth for rejecting his sexual advances, police said on Saturday, November 7.

The girl was set on fire by a 21-year-old man identified as Krishna Gupta, in Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday, November 6.

The victim was admitted to a hospital in Ballia, said Dubhar police station SHO, Anil Chandra Tiwari said on Saturday.

As her situation turned critical, she was referred to a hospital in Varanasi, he added.

On the girl's father complaint, the police registered a case against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The girl's father told police that the accused abducted his daughter from his house and set her on fire as she had been consistently rejecting the man's sexual advances towards her.

The accused has been arrested.

21 Yrs Old Bricklayer Owolabi Kills His Apprentice For Money Ritual

 A 21-year-old bricklayer, Biodun Owolabi, has been arrested alongside his accomplices Festus Simon, 20, and an Alfa for killing a 13 yr old secondary schoolboy, Quadri Olalekan, for a money ritual in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The incident happened on Saturday, October 31, 2020, after they tricked the deceased with a bricklaying work at Iyana Church, Iwo Road, Ibadan. They had been working together as a result of the closure of schools due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

However, when the mother could not find him after several hours, she raised the alarm and a search began. Owolabi who initially denied, later confessed to killing the missing child.
He then took members of the community to the place where Olalekan was buried, after life was snuffed out of him. The victim’s arms, eyes, and penis were missing when the corpse was exhumed.

The deceased’s 14th birthday was on Sunday and his mother had bought clothes for him to celebrate it. But he was killed a day before his birthday.

Dog Dies After Being 'gang-raped' And Stabbed 30 Times

 A dog has died after she was "gang-raped" by several people in a bestiality attack that left her with 30 stab wounds.

Distressing footage shows the bleeding dog struggling to move on the streets of Bogota, Colombia on November 1.

Concerned passersby put a lead on the dog and place a sack under its bleeding body.

After the video ended, the group took the dog to the vets in the bag because it was too weak to walk on its own.

Marta Buitrago, the resident who took the dog to the vet, told the newspaper El Tiempo that the dog appeared injured and very weak when she found her.

Images and videos were shared on Facebook by Liliana Guerrero who said that the dog "was stabbed many times and sexually abused by several people".

She added: "Because she wouldn’t allow it, they stabbed her."

"They destroyed her genitals, stabbed her almost 30 times, punched her and caused other superficial injuries," she continued.

Esther Ita Stephen Gang Raped & Murdered In Akwa Ibom

 Friends and family members have taken to Facebook in the last few days to demand justice for a young woman who was allegedly gang raped and murdered by suspected hoodlums at Nsukara Offot community in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom, NaijaCover Reports.

It was gathered By NaijaCover, that Esther Ita Stephen, who left secondary school in 2016, was ambushed, raped and killed by unknown assailants around Nwaniba road on Wednesday afternoon, October 28, 2020.

According to one of her friend, Edwin Edem, this is the third case of rape and murder going on in the community in the last six months.

It has also been alleged that many women and girls have been raped and murdered since crisis engulfed the community over power tussle between the village head and one Eyo Essien.

A June 29, 2020, report by an Akwa Ibom journalist, Divine Sam titled "ALLEGED BRUTAL MURDER OF WOMEN IN NSUKARA OFFOT COMMUNITY: MONARCH CRIES OUT FOR GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION" said ten women have reportedly been assaulted while two of them lost their lives.

In the report, the village head of Nsukara Offot, Eteindung Cletus Benson had cried to Governor Udom Emmanuel for help over the incessant brutal rape and murder of women in the community by hoodlums.

In his post, Edwin Edem described late Esther as a young lady with promising and bright future.

"I am pained by the happenings around in the last 24 hours my heart knows. No joy Esther Ita Stephen, beloved friend turned sister was raped and murdered yesterday in broad-day. I am pained because the killers of this young lady with a promising Bright future. Still dwells among us uncut . I am pained because this numbers the third case of murder and countless numbers of rape ongoing within my community in the last six months and no one has been brought to book. Should we also let this fadeaway just like the former? We do not know who's next. We seek #justiceforEsther"

On his part, MacHonest Mbong wrote: "Rest in Peace, Esther. Raped and murdered in broad daylight. May your killers never find peace of mind."

A member of the community, Susan James begged the state government to come to their aid as she is scared.

"A community that was once peaceful for its inhabitants is now unsafe. God please do not let people causing this havoc to have peace." she wrote.

Aniekeme Daniel: "My heart bled yesterday when I got this news. We need justice for Esther Ita. Her killers must not go unpunished. Girls in the community should rise up. I stand for justice. Rest in peace dearie."
