40-Year-Old Man Arrested For Defiling A 13-Year-Old Girl In Kaduna

 The Ministry of Human Services and Social Development in Kaduna, has announced the arrest of a 40-year old man for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl in the state, IgbereTV reports.

The suspect, Musa Hassan was arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command.

The Ministry said in a statement that the suspect brutally raped the victim and left her in a pool of her own blood during the attack in Unguwan Shanu.

The young girl is said to be receiving treatment at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital.

The ministry also assured that the victim will receive the required support to go through the disturbing experience while investigations are being conducted.

It was also disclosed in the statement that the incident will be handled alongside similar cases, with support from the Ministry of Justice 'to ensure the effective application of the state's criminal justice procedure & Kaduna State Penal Code (Amendment) Law 2020.'

MOPOL Inspector Rapes 13-year-old Student In Benue

 A Mobile Police Inspector identified simply as John has been arrested and detained at Ugba Police Station over the rape of a 13-year-old female student in Ayilamo, Tombo ward of Logo Local Government Area in Benue State.

The community leader in Ayilamo, Hon Wuam Hilega said the incident occurred at about 5pm on Thursday November 12. He told The Nation that five female students of Tombo Community Secondly School, Ayilamo were sent on errand by their games-master to fetch water from a nearby well, close to the Mobile Police quarters.

However a mobile police inspector, who was with a broom sweeping called one of the girls. Hilega said;

“The girl, Philomena Torhile, was afraid but the police inspector threatened to deal with her if she didn’t respond, so the other girls advised her to go.

“But when Philomena Torhile approached the police inspector, he immediately dragged her into the room, pulled her cloths and raped her.”

The other girls ran back to the school and reported to the principal of Tombo Community Secondary School and other staff, who mobilised to the house of the policeman and broke the door open.

The policeman who was caught naked was almost lynched after the girl was seen naked and bleeding. The tension was doused by principal of Tombo Community Secondly School, Mr. Aondona Akumbul before a team of Operation Whirl Stroke who were called in arrived and whisked away the inspector to Anyiin Police Station.

It was however gathered that the youths torched the police post in Ayilamo and smashed doors and window. The policeman was subsequently taken to Logo Divisional Police Station in Ugba on Friday November 13.

The Divisional Police office in Ugba confirmed the incident and said the suspect will be transferred to Benue State Police Command in Makurdi for thorough investigation.

Man, 70, Arrested For Impregnating Granddaughter In Ogun

 A 70-year-old man identified as Hunsu Sunday, has been arrested by operatives of the Ogun State Police Command, on Thursday, November 12, for allegedly impregnating his 15-year-old granddaughter, Insidenaija reports.

Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the said that the septuagenarian was arrested after a complaint was made by a relation of the victim, at the Ado-Odo Division.

According to the complainant report, the victim, had been living with the suspect, since the demise of her mother.

The victim was said to have informed the relation about how her grandfather had been abusing her sexually.

Having been informed about the matter, the DPO Ado-Odo, SP Michael Arowojeun, detailed his men and effect the arrest of the suspect.

The statement said, “On interrogation, he confessed having carnal knowledge of his granddaughter, but claimed that he didn’t know that the victim is pregnant. The victim has been taken to hospital for medical treatment.”

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun, had ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.

26yr Old Man On The Run After Allegedly Defiling A 7-yr-old Girl During #endsars

 A call for justice has been issued out over a 26-year-old man identified as wisdom who allegedly raped a 7-year-old girl.

According to Warri Aproko, the suspect committed the act on the 26th of October,2020, during the #Endsars protest in Abraka, Delta State and all efforts to get the police to arrest and investigate the suspect has proved abortive.

It is also reported that Wisdom is now on the run. According to medical reports, the suspect injured the little girl badly. However, residents have taken to social media to call on the Delta State Commissioner of Police (CP) Hafiz Mohammed, to give a marching order to the Abraka Divisional police officer to fish out the suspect.

Friends Mourn Lady Found Dead Inside Gutter In Anambra

 The young woman allegedly murdered and dumped into gutter in Anambra has been identified as Chinasa Sophia, a graduate of the Institute of the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Enugu, 

The corpse of the deceased was found dumped inside a drainage at Adikpi village, along Osumenyi/Akwuihedi road, Osumenyi in Nnewi South Local Government Area of the State.

Spokesperson of the Police Command, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, November 11, said her corpse was deposited at Visitation Hospital morgue in Osumenyi.

According to David Azubike Chikwunyelum who knew the victim, late Chinasa was a sales girl and he used to patronise her.

David Azubike wrote:

"Some time on Sunday evening or Monday this week i came across this post (Only the victim as her lifeless body lays on the drainage), I by passed it, reason I can't Identify the face, secondly I never believed that some whom i know will be a such victim, it never occurred to me. Today as I arrive for normal business my neighbors greeted and told me that a lady was killed in Nnewi by unknown people and dump in the gutter and was in Facebook , I remembered I came across such! I ask for her identity , oh my God it's Chinasa, she is a sales girl, I use to buy from her Bullet energy drink, Pure Heaven fruit juice and Vitasoy soya drink. May her soul rest in peace:

Two Arrested For Kidnapping And Gang-Raping A 14-Year-Old Girl In Ogun

 The Ogun state police command has confirmed the arrest of two men identified as Michael Hammed Azeez, 20 and Adeola Ogunseye, 22 for allegedly kidnapping and gang raping a 14-year-old girl.

IgbereTV reports that the suspects were arrested on November 4, 2020 following a complaint lodged at Owode Egba divisional headquarters by the mother of the victim.

The victim's mother said her daughter was abducted by the two suspects on November 3 at about 8:30 pm and taken to an unknown place where the duo took turns to forcefully have carnal knowledge of her.

It was further learnt that the rape victim was later found seriously battered along school road, Owode Egba in Obafemi Owode Local government area of Ogun State.

Following the complaint, the DPO of Owode Egba division, CSP Mathew Ediae mobilized his detectives to the area where the two suspects identified by the victim were apprehended. Torn panties of the victim was also recovered therein.

Ogun state Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Ajogun has ordered the transfer of the suspects to the state CID for further investigation and prosecution.

Young Lady Dead And Boyfriend In Coma After Taking Overdose Of Sex Ehancing Drug

A young lady by name Sarah has been reportedly dead and boyfriend currently in coma after they both took hard drugs beyond their control ,

The drugs taken are suspected to be sex enhancing drugs which the pair normally take before engaging in the act.

The young lady is a student of Delta state polytechnic, Oghara and the young man stays in Abraka ,Delta state .

The unfortunate incident happened in Abraka on Sunday (8/11/20) at strong tower hostel ,it occurred at night time.

The police are currently investigating the issue and the young man is yet to recover as at the time of reporting this.
