Woman Brutalized By Her Husband 2 Hours After Celebrating Him

 One Mrs Salsha Betty took to her Facebook page to report how her husband brutalized her few hours after celebrating him. HGS Media Plus reports.


HGS Media Plus report that the unfortunate incident happened on Tuesday, December 8 2020.

Apparently, Betty had earlier posted a photo of herself and her husband thanking him for been a good husband and father for 5 years.

According to her, they are blessed with a daughter who he has been a good father to as she celebrated him.

"Good night from bar and I. Thank you for being a supportive partner for the last 5 years, & a good father to our daughter too. I love you babe," she wrote.

HGS Media Plus reports that Betty later updated her Facebook timeline two hours later asking her followers to help get a place she can report a domestic violence case.

"Anywhere I can report domestic violence? I genuinely need help urgently this is my personal number ..." She wrote.

However, another Facebook user, Njeri Wa Migwi - Mwangi revealed that Mrs Betty has received medical treatment.

"We are in hospital, she has been treated and had stitches done. She's gone for head scan since she was bleeding from the ears.

Otherwise she's well and safe. Matter have reported to the police.

This is just a reminder that things can take a sharp turn in a matter of minutes Those you share a duvet , with are the most likely to harm you.

Three Yahoo Boys Gang-rαpe 18-year-old

 Three Yahoo Boys Gang-Rαpe 18-Year-Old Girl, Says They Thought Police No Longer Works

Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspected Internet fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo boys, for allegedly gang-raping an 18-year-old girl at gunpoint.

The three suspects identified as Tunde Sadiq Taiwo, 22, Damilola Adesina, 20, and Adegoke Amos, 21, were arrested last weekend in the Ijebu Ode area of the state.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, said the suspects were arrested after the victim reported at the Ilese divisional police headquarters, Ijebu-Ode.

According to him, the victim reported to the police that the suspects forcefully dragged her into the car and drove to the Rationwa area, where they took turns to rape her at gunpoint.

The police spokesman said that on the strength of the report, the DPO Ilese division, SP Yakubu Bala, mobilised detectives and stormed their hideout, where one of them was arrested.

Oyeyemi said that the young man who was arrested on December 5 , led the police to the other two, and they were subsequently arrested.

The suspects upon interrogation confess to have committed the crime saying they thought the police were no longer working, hence crimes can be perpetrated at anytime.

“On interrogation, they confessed to committing the crime and claimed to have believed that the police were no longer working, hence they could do anything they liked, but they were surprised when the police came after them,” he said.

Oyeyemi said the state Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, had ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.

Body Of Unidentified Woman Found Dumped By The Roadside In Ibadan

 The body of a yet-to-be identified woman was found dumped at Osuntokun Avenue, Bodija, in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital on Tuesday, December 8, IgbereTV reports.

The Fast-Track Emergency Rescue Operation squad of the Oyo State Road Transport Management Agency (OYRTMA) were called to the scene at about 11am.

They arrived, removed the remains and deposited it at the Adeoyo Hospital's Mortuary, Ibadan.

Woman Burns Her Stepdaughter's Face With Hot Knife In Abuja

 A woman has been accused of inflicting bodily harm on her young stepdaughter and subjecting the young girl to other forms of physical and mental abuse, IgbereTV reports.


The victim is identified as Husnah Habib, a class 4 student of Islamic school, Sheikh Abubakar Gummi Academy located in Asokoro, Abuja.

According to the video posted today by Hausa Blogger, Northern Hisbiscus, the young girl came to school on Tuesday morning, December 8, with burn wounds on her face and hand.

Narrating her ordeal in the video, the young girl said that the stepmother put a kitchen knife on fire and when it became hot, she placed it on her face. The woman also got hold of her hand and placed it directly on the fire.

The young girl said she is scared of telling her father about her ordeal in the hands of his wife because it will earn her more punishment from the woman.

Lady Sets Husband Ablaze In Benue State

 A lady reportedly set her husband ablaze in their rented apartment in Gboko area of Benue state.

Facebook user, Shom Akor Fanen who shared photos of the man with burn injuries revealed that he is currently being hospitalized.

He wrote;

"BREAKING!! A lady locked her Husband in their room and set it ablaze in Benue.

"A lady locked her husband in there rented room and set the whole house Ablaze around 1am in the mid hours of the night, at shaahu road,@ Gboko south,Benue State.

"As at the time of filling this report,Sources confirmed that the husband is at the moment hospitalized in Gboko and he is receiving treatment, though,his condition is bad".

Channels TV Begins Investigation Into Wife-beating Allegation Against Its Report

 Channels TV has commenced an investigation of the wife battery report against its Benue reporter, Pius Angbo, saying it is investigating it.

In a response to a viral video, in which Ifeanyinwa, the medical doctor wife of Angbo, accused him of battery, the TV station said it will take appropriate action after the probe.

13-year-old Girl Stripped Naked And Thrown Into The Street In Benue By Her Aunt

 According to the reports gathered, It was stated that a 13yr old girl as been stripped naked by her aunty in Benue state around the Gboko South Local Government area as she was thrown to the street.

It was also stated that this happened on Saturday, December 5.

The Man (Ukan Kurugh) who shared the picture on Facebook stated that the girl used stack to cover herself after the woman threw her out and also told her to go and collect clothes from a Tailor.

According to him, He wrote:

“This is a situation in my area oo. A little girl of 13 years staying with her aunty in Gboko-south has always been beaten by her aunty everyday that passes.

“Today, 05/12/2020 around 10: 26am the aunty as usual beat her and throw her naked outside the gate and gave her an order to go and collect her clothes from the near by tailor unclad for reasons unknown to me. She has nothing on her and use a sack (Bagco bag) to cover her self.

I’m writing this as an eye witness. Please, I call on all the authorities to come to this little girl’s rescue.
