Boy, 15, Murdered Cousin, 9, While Raping Her During A Sleepover Then Dumped Her

 15 year-old boy killed his 9-year-old cousin while raping her during a sleepover, then dumped her body in a gully, a court heard.

Jeremiah Morfin, who is now 17, had the sexual assault charge added to the murder allegation he already faces during a court hearing on Wednesday, Dec 16.

Prosecutor Imad Award told the preliminary hearing in Albuquerque, New Mexico that Aaliyah was fatally strangled while being sexually assaulted by her older cousin at sleepover.

Awad said the girl also suffered internal injuries after Morfin stomped on her chest.

Morfin, from Albuquerque in New Mexico, is being tried as an adult over claims he raped, then beat and strangled his cousin Aaliyah to death at a sleepover in January 2019.

The suspected murderer is then accused of dumping Aaliyah’s corpse in a storm drain.

Morfin allegedly killed Aaliyah at his family’s home, the Albuquerque Journal reported. His mother checked in on him the morning after the sleepover, to find Jeremiah cleaning his room and doing laundry, with Aaliyah missing.

The unnamed woman immediately got into her car and went looking for her niece. She says she returned home to a note from Jeremiah saying that he "kind of lost it" and "I did something bad."

Police were called, with one officer asking Jeremiah where Aaliyah was. He directed them to a gully where Aaliyah’s body was found.

Detectives who recovered the youngster’s remains said she had suffered visible trauma to her head and chest.

Morfin faces a charge of first-degree murder, and is being held in jail ahead of his trial.

Abia Police Recover Stolen Kids After Arresting Suspected Traffickers

 Men of Rapid Respond Squad, RRS of Abia State Police Command have recovered two kids from child trafficking syndicate who were recently arrested.

The Rapid Respond Squad, RRS was set up by the Commissioner of Police CP Janet Agbede to address security challenges around the state.

The RRS team led by the commander SP Johnbull Obioguru rescued two kids from where they were sold.

One of the kids whose name was given as Marvelous was rescued from Lagos while the second child was rescued from Port Harcourt on Saturday 12 December 2020.

Marvellous has been handed over to her parents by the RRS while the second child does not know his name nor the name of his parents, community or last contact address.

He was said to have been abducted at a very tender age.

The Command urges members of the public who lost their child to visit Police Headquarters in Umuahia or any nearest police station to identify if the said child is theirs.

Meanwhile, according to a police source, efforts is still on to rescue more kidnapped children from the child syndicate.

ABN TV reports that the command had last week paraded suspected traffickers arrested from various locations in Imo, Abia and Rivers.

 The body of a little girl who went missing after attending an event with her parents was found dead floating in a river in Ebonyi State. HGS Media Plus reports.

HGS Media Plus gathered that the little girl identified as Rosemary Chinyere Nnachi went missing on Saturday, December 12 after she attended an end of year event with her parents.

HGS Media Plus learnt that the deceased body was found dead floating in a river at one Nnodo community in Ebonyi, Abakaliki 48 hours after she was declared missing by her parents.

According to a legal practitioner, Ekigbo Sampson Nnamdi who shared the unfortunate incident, he wrote:

"The missing child was found dead. The world we live in is evil. Thanks to those who showed concern."

 

Maid Sentence to 4years Imprison For Feeding Her Boss Babe With Urine

 A Ugandan househelp, Vicky Abiria has been sentenced for feeding her boss's baby with her urine and infecting her with syphilis.

Abiria was sentenced to four years imprisonment by Kira division court on Friday, December 11.

Hope Chica, the mother of the baby told the police that she got suspicious after noticing that Abira had kept the baby’s bottle packed with urine in her bedroom.

Upon interrogation, she confessed that she was giving the child her urine.

"I found my baby’s bottle full of urine and when I asked her she confessed that she was feeding my baby with her urine,” she said.

Chica added that: “When I took my daughter to the hospital, the doctors found out that my baby had syphilis. I am now trying to treat my child and make sure that she doesn’t get other complications.”

She further added that she always saw these kinds of acts on social media and television and didn’t really think that they were true.

"I have always heard that house helps do these kinds of things, now that it has happened to my child, I even fear maids. I don’t ever want to hire one. I have always treated this girl well but I don’t know why she decided to do such a thing,” she said.

Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) Spokesperson Patrick Onyango had on Thursday, December 10, confirmed that they arrested Abira and charged her with spreading dangerous diseases after tests on the child proved that it had been infected by a urinary tract infection.

Man Charged And Arrested After Raping His Girlfriend With A Scissors

 According to the reports, A Toledo man (Guy Carr) was charged and arrested after raping his Girlfriend with a pair of Scissors.

On Monday the 34 yr old man (Guy Carr) was charged in the court where he was said to pay $100,000. He was ordered not have no contact with the victim.

His next hearing is set for December 14.

According to the victim, Carr choked her and hit her with a closed fist, then threw her to the ground. He grabbed a pair of scissors and cut her hair. He then inserted the scissors into her vagina.

Woman Brutalized By Her Husband 2 Hours After Celebrating Him

 One Mrs Salsha Betty took to her Facebook page to report how her husband brutalized her few hours after celebrating him. HGS Media Plus reports.

Apparently, Betty had earlier posted a photo of herself and her husband thanking him for been a good husband and father for 5 years.

According to her, they are blessed with a daughter who he has been a good father to as she celebrated him.

"Good night from bar and I. Thank you for being a supportive partner for the last 5 years, & a good father to our daughter too. I love you babe," she wrote.

HGS Media Plus reports that Betty later updated her Facebook timeline two hours later asking her followers to help get a place she can report a domestic violence case.

"Anywhere I can report domestic violence? I genuinely need help urgently this is my personal number ..." She wrote.

However, another Facebook user, Njeri Wa Migwi - Mwangi revealed that Mrs Betty has received medical treatment.

"We are in hospital, she has been treated and had stitches done. She's gone for head scan since she was bleeding from the ears.

Otherwise she's well and safe. Matter have reported to the police.

 Three Yahoo Boys Gang-Rαpe 18-Year-Old Girl, Says They Thought Police No Longer Works

Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspected Internet fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo boys, for allegedly gang-raping an 18-year-old girl at gunpoint.

The three suspects identified as Tunde Sadiq Taiwo, 22, Damilola Adesina, 20, and Adegoke Amos, 21, were arrested last weekend in the Ijebu Ode area of the state.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, said the suspects were arrested after the victim reported at the Ilese divisional police headquarters, Ijebu-Ode.

According to him, the victim reported to the police that the suspects forcefully dragged her into the car and drove to the Rationwa area, where they took turns to rape her at gunpoint.

The police spokesman said that on the strength of the report, the DPO Ilese division, SP Yakubu Bala, mobilised detectives and stormed their hideout, where one of them was arrested.

Oyeyemi said that the young man who was arrested on December 5 , led the police to the other two, and they were subsequently arrested.

The suspects upon interrogation confess to have committed the crime saying they thought the police were no longer working, hence crimes can be perpetrated at anytime.

“On interrogation, they confessed to committing the crime and claimed to have believed that the police were no longer working, hence they could do anything they liked, but they were surprised when the police came after them,” he said.

Oyeyemi said the state Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, had ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
