Nigerian Man K I L L S Himself After His Girlfriend Cheated & Dumped Him

 A fresh graduate of Ken Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic (Kenpoly) in Bori, Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State, has reportedly committed suicide.


Suanu’s Blog gathered that the decision of the deceased identified as Charles Orji to take his own life was because his girlfriend identified as Rejoice Nwaku dumped him for another man.

It was further gathered that the deceased was hurriedly buried in his hometown after that following the strange nature of his demise. The burial was attended by a few of his friends who later took to social media to lay curses on the ex-girlfriend whose heartbreak led to Charles’s sudden death.

Until his demise, he graduated from the department of Estate Management in the institution where he had met his lover.

Calls made to the lady allegedly behind the suicide by Suanu’s Blog were not picked up as of press time.

Woman And Her Partner Arrested For Allegedly Battering Her Two Children

 The police in Lagos state have arrested a mother and her partner for allegedly battering her two children aged 5 and 2.

The woman identified as Busola Oyediran and her partner, Akebiara Emmanuel, was arrested on Friday, January 13, by the police following reports by neighbours.

The concerned neighbours had alerted the police of the constant physical abuse of the minors by their biological mother and her partner. Following the report, the police stormed the Egbeda/Idimu home of the couple and arrested them. The police later visited the hospital where the neighbours had treated the battered children.

When confronted, their mother claimed the children fell from a motorcycle and suffered severe injuries.

Confirming the arrest to LIB, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin, said the couple is currently in detention and will be arraigned in court by Monday, January I6. He said the father of the children had been alerted.

Homosexual Arrested For Raping 5-Year-Old Boy To Death In Ogun

 Men of the Ogun State Police Command on Friday, November 25th arrested a 36-year-old homosexual identified as Sikiru Ajibola for allegedly raping a 5-year-old boy to death in the Ogijo area of Ogun state.


The suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Ogijo divisional headquarters by the CDA Chairman of Olorunwa Arogbeja Ogijo, who stated that one of the community members informed him that the suspect had unlawful carnal knowledge of a 5 years old boy, consequence upon which the innocent boy died in the process.

Upon the report, the DPO Ogijo division, CSP Enatufe Omoh, quickly detailed his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested. On interrogation, the arrested suspect confessed to being a homosexual and that while he was raping the deceased boy, the boy gave up the ghost.

He confessed further that he quickly dug a shallow grave in a nearby bush, where he buried the boy.


He has also taken policemen to where the deceased was buried.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the state Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the Homicide section of the state Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and diligent prosecution.

Body Of Unidentified Woman Found Dumped In Minna

 The Body of an unidentified woman was found dumped along the farm center in Minna, The Niger State Capital.


An Eyewitness, Comr Lanre Sadiq, who confirmed the incident on Facebook, said the body was discovered on Saturday night, January 7, 2023.

According to him, residents of a compound in the area claimed that a man identified as Baba Muhammed was earlier seen taking a lady into his room that day.

"An Unknown Young Lady without proper identification was confirmed dead yesterday along a farm center in Minna the state capital," he wrote,

"I received an urgent call at about 8:03 pm last night after returning home from the day's activities, after some minutes another's call also came from unknown people when I asked them, they confirmed to me that, there was a dead body of a young lady within their community in farm center before Mr. Biggs.

"They said a man between 44-45 years of age known as Baba Muhammed took a lady inside his room to have sexual intercourse according to the report coming from neighbors within the compound, but to their surprise, they saw the man planned to dump the dead body of the young lady outside the compound.

"Before one Yusuf Muhammed, who resides within the compound and is the caretaker of the house raised the alarm to the General public.

"After a few minutes, many people within the environment came out for solidarity, and to ensure the needful was done, they called the Tuduwada police station and responded immediately.

"The corpse was taken inside a Keke-napep as popularly called by the General public, what a show of shame, the Nigeria police force has no operational vehicle to convey the corpse, we all waited and were stranded before we talked to a napep rider to assist in carrying the dead body to Mortuary in General hospital in Minna.

"The sad news was, the lady had no mobile phone to reach out to the family, and the dead body was deposited in the Mortuary with the help of the Nigeria police force, and the Director of the welfare of the chanchaga local government secretariat.

"If anybody can identify the face, they should assist the Nigerian police force to enable the family to get appropriate information about the death of their daughter and give her proper burial rites. My Name is comrade Lanre the Unshakable."


Bauchi Man Shoots And Kills Wife After Mistaking Her For His Son

 The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 40-year-old man, Nuhu Umar Usman, for culpable homicide.


Spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, in a statement on Thursday, January 5, said Usman, of Dangarfa village in Kyata Burra District, shot dead his first wife, Ladi Nuhu, after mistaking her for an intruder.

According to the PPRO, there was an altercation between the suspect's two wives and his eldest son, who held a grudge against him and had threatened to harm him.

This made the suspect load his Dane gun and keep it beside him throughout the night waiting for the intruder, possibly his eldest son.

Wakil said the deceased had left the room to ease herself and was on her way back when the husband woke up upon hearing a suspicious move close to his room.

He picked up the loaded gun and directly fired at her in the stomach. Ladi was rushed to a hospital where she was confirmed dead by a doctor on duty.

"Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect slept in the same room with his wife (Deceased) that night, the suspect had two wives and six children," the statement read.

"That there was an altercation between the wives, to the extent that the eldest son holds grudges against the father and threatened to harm him.

"Before that incident, the eldest son threatened the father. This made the suspect load his Dane gun and keep it beside him throughout the night waiting for the intruder, possibly his eldest son.

"Investigation revealed that on the 28th December 2022 at about 0200hrs while he was sleeping in the same room with his wife Ladi Nuhu ‘f’ aged 37yrs of the same address she went out of the room to ease herself.

"On her way to the room, the husband woke up and armed himself with a Dane gun upon hearing suspicious move close to his room and directly fired at her in the stomach. As a result, she sustained injury. The victim was rushed to the General Hospital Burra, but certified dead by a medical doctor.

"The Commissioner of Police CP Aminu Alhassan psc (+) directed that the suspect be charged to court on completion of the investigation."

A young man identified as Izuchukwu Charles Igweka has been killed by unknown gunmen two days before his traditional wedding in Anambra State, IGBERETV reports.

It was gathered that the incident happened in Ukpor Town, Nnewi South Local Government Area of the state around 10 pm on Wednesday night, January 5, 2023.

Late Izuchukwu was set to tie the knot traditionally with his partner, Chinenye Linda Chukwuchekwa on January 7, in Ezekwuabo-Otolo Nnewi.

His friend, Obi Chibuike Charles said they were together when the gunmen attacked them.

"It's very hard to type goodbye bro but God knows the best, Nigeria has happened to you and Nigeria has failed you bro," Obi wrote.

"Full of life yesterday, today you're been laid to mother earth. my bro I just wish you can wake and tell me it's all a prank because we have many things to achieve together, Ichie I'm sorry that yesterday when unknown gunmen attacked us I couldn't do anything.

"We have survived many things together and they choose to take you away from me, your traditional marriage is coming up next tomorrow which is 7th and we have planned on how to shut down as usual but they came yesterday and took your life forcefully. What more can I say to a brother and friend like you at this point if not farewell. Turnfire I'll choose you over and over and over again because you're too good to be a human.Rest well my brother till we meet to part no more. I love you bro forever,"

Gunmen Kill Councillor, Boutique Owner, Sales Girl And Customer In Sapele (Pix)

 Gunmen suspected to be cultists killed a councilor, Bigha Grikpa, and three others in Sapele town, Delta State, IGBERETV reports.


Grikpa, the deputy leader of Warri North council, was shot dead by gunmen who stormed the Mission Road area of the town in the early hours of Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

Other victims include Mathew Ekiopa, who ran a thriving boutique at Lexi Junction, and his sales girl simply identified as Blessing.

They were hit at point-blank range in the head and arm in front of the shop.

The fourth victim, Alhaji Bello, a businessman, was said to be making a purchase at the boutique when the gunmen struck.

Sources said the politician and other victims were probably at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The town has been rocked by bloody cult gang wars and deadly killings in the last two years, with dozens of young men killed during the yuletide season.

Khalil Samuel, a resident of the troubled city, lamented the spate of killings on his Facebook page.

"Four people were killed in Sapele this (Wednesday) morning. Sapele needs serious intervention," he said.

Khalil urged the government to declare a curfew in the town, noting that the killings are “totally unacceptable.

A former state House of Assembly member, Daniel Mayuku, expressed shock at Grikpa’s death.

"I know this very calm and respectful councilor. What is his offense?" he asked.

Posting Grikpa's photo, one Alagba Rashidi, based in the UK, said the deceased was not a cultist.
