Strategies Men Can Use to Help End Violence Against Women.

• Reject and oppose any form of VIOLENCE against women and children. If you do, you might be saving your wife, sister, daughter or a friend.

• Refuse vehemently to use any form of violence against women — physical, sexual, psychological or emotional.

• Discuss with other men about male violence against women.

• Educate yourself about how men are raised and how this helps create a culture where rape and domestic violence are possible.

• Interrupt and give stern objection against sexist jokes and comments.

• Support laws and campaigns that encourage men to take responsibility for ending rape and domestic violence.

• Be ATTENTIVE to women’s fears and concerns about their safety.

• Do not take joy in images of violence against women in advertising, pornography, movies, art and music.

• Encourage and support women in their efforts to be strong and powerful.

• Know that cooperation.agape love and friendship are powerful.

• Change your perception, that helps create a culture where RAPE and DOMESTIC VIOLENCE are possible.

• Give strong Support to men and women working to end violence against women.

• Be an ally for women by not involving in sexist behavior which ridicules and stereotypes women.

• Educate yourself, your children, friends, colleagues and family about the realities of rape and domestic violence.

• Always get the approval of the opposite SEX before engaging in sex. Don’t use drugs or alcohol to get someone to have sex with you.

• Associate with programs that work and fight to end violence against women.

• Believe women when they share their experience of rape and domestic violence.
