A 20-year-old suspect identified as Benjamin Wariebi has been arrested for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old in Bayelsa State.

Narrating her ordeal in Benjamin's hands, the victim said Benjamin sent her on an errand to purchase 50 Naira worth of groundnut for him. Things however took a dramatic turn when, she came back to deliver the purchase to the suspect. According to her, "when I brought the groundnut, he dragged me inside his room, clamped his hand over my mouth to stop me from screaming."

After Benjamin finished having his way with the victim, he tried running away but his attempt to do do was thwarted by residents who prevented him. The victim explained, “After he finished, I was crying and bleeding. Some people saw me and I told them what happened. He wanted to run, but he was arrested.
