The family of a lady, identified simply as Favour, left hospitalised and battling for her life at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos State after she was brutally raped, beaten and left for dead inside a drainage channel by one Godday Robinson, are demanding for justice.
The incident was said to have happened on 23 April 2020 around Agbara area of Ogun State when the 17-year-old victim was returning from work.
Robinson, 28, reportedly waylaid the victim and raped to a coma her for rejecting his love advances.
It is reliably gathered that it would be the second time Robinson would rape Favour.
It was further gathered that Robinson beat and slammed the victim on the edges of the drainage channel and later pushed her into it.
The Punch Newspaper, which quoted the victim’s auntie, one Mary Bassey, said the incident left Favour with an injury that affected her spinal cord, adding that she could not talk nor sit.
It was learnt that the Ogun State Government had taken over the medical bills of the victim
