Mrs Queen Igbinevbo, the pregnant wife of Edo State politician, Comrade Promise Igbinevbo was raped and murdered in her home in Benin.
Mrs Igbinevbo was said to be home alone when the attackers entered her home through the ceiling. It was alleged that they came for her husband, Comrade Igbinevbo who is a Governorship campaign coordinator. When they couldn't find him at home, they raped and murdered his wife.
Mrs Igbinevbo was found naked with blood and foam coming out from her mouth and semen on her body, after her neighbours who didn't see her became worried and broke into her house. They had to call her husband to tell him what has happened.
According to a source, neighbours reported seeing strange men walking around the street days before the incident.
The murder of Queen Igbinevbo however sparked up a protest in Benin on Friday 5th June, as protesters were seen at the Edo State Police Command demanding for justice for the deceased.
