Man caught bashing his 20-month-old baby forcing her to open legs: His PEN!S was on baby’s thighs
AN Mpumalanga father accused of rap_ing his 20-month-old baby previously exposed the child to porn0graphic material.

This was revealed by the 34-year-old mother yesterday (Wednesday).

She told Daily Sun early this year she suspected the father was se_xually abusing her daughter.

She said he previously ordered her to leave the child behind while she went to work.

“When I came back from work, one of the girls who lives around told me they heard my baby cry. The girl told me she tried to push the door to investigate what was happening, but the father chased her away.

“I didn’t take it seriously because I never thought he would do something like this,” she said.

She said she noticed when she was bathing her.
She said her baby cried and didn’t want her mum to touch her on her private parts.

She said the father once pretended to be sleeping, allegedly put in a porn0graphic video, switched off the volume and tried to penetrate her daughter.

She said she woke up and asked him what he was doing but he pretended to be peeing.

“I was amazed because there was no uri_ne in the bucket. I asked him several times, but he denied it,” she said.

She said after a few days, he found him holding a plank.

“He was hitting my baby forcing her to open her legs while the porn0graphic movie was playing. He placed his hands on my baby’s mouth trying to stop her from screaming.

“His trousers were already down while his 4-5 was on my baby’s thighs,” she said.

“It hurts me a lot that the person who did this is the same person who was supposed to be protecting her. I wish justice can take its cause.”

The father (35) appeared before the KaBokweni Magistrates Court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody until 2 July.

Mpumalanga police spokesman, Brigadier Leonard Hlathi said the police were concerned with rap_e incidents involving biological parents.

“We are investigating strange cases where parents are alleged to be rap_ing their own children. We need men who will behave well and look after their children,” he said

Falsehood and Facts about Sexual Act or Rape

FalseMost rapes are committed by a stranger in a dark lane
FactMore than 86 percent of all rapes are committed by someone known to the victim. More than half of all rapes occur in the victim’s residence.

FalseWomen who say “no” to sexual advances often mean “yes.”
FactAlthough miscommunication or misunderstanding can occur, it is never acceptable to force sex. If a woman says “no” she has a right for her wishes to be respected, and a man should never assume that she means “yes.”

FalseNice girls don’t get raped.
Fact: All women are exposed to sexual assault. Most victims are ordinary women with good reputations and social standing. Reputation has nothing to do with selection of rape victims.

FalseWomen incite rape by their appearance and behavior.
Fact: Rape victims range in age from 2 months to 93 years. Rape is an affirmation of animosity and/or power expressed in a sexual manner and it has nothing to do with victim’s behavior and/or dress. To be sexually assaulted is to be victimized, and therefore, is not the fault of the victim.

False: Women actually want to be raped, because they enjoy it.
Fact: No woman enjoys to be abused not even by her husband. Rape is a violent crime, and no one asks to be a victim of a violent crime.

FalseA woman can prevent rape by communicating more clearly.
Fact:: what a wrong assertion. This falsehood places blame for rape on women. Men rape, so only men can prevent rape. Communication is important, but a woman can be raped even if she screams, cries or is incapable of saying “no” because she is drugged, has been overpowered, intoxicated or has passed out.

False: A woman cannot be subjected to rape against her will.
Fact: Rape would not happen if women were willing. Physical and psychological fear may completely cripple a woman’s ability to resist and prevent assault. A woman can be the victim of rape just as she can be the victim of murder or any other violent crime.

False: Rape is an inborn product of male sexuality.
Fact:: Rape is very uncommon in some societies, which shows that rape is a choice and a cultivated behavior. Rape is an expression of male dominance, pride and hostility, not innate male sexuality.

False: Most rapists are medically unfit or mentally ill.
Fact: You can hardly find anyone accusing someone of rape. Fewer than 2 percent of rape complaints are falsely reported. This is about the same rate of false reporting for other crimes.

Teen Girl Defiled by 3 Men After Visiting Man She Met on Facebook

A teenage girl and her mother are crying for justice after the minor was allegedly defiled by three men in early June.

The distraught mother, who hails from Homa Bay County, said her 17-year-old daughter, who lives with her aunt in Mbita, called on Friday, June 5 to say she would be visiting her (mother) later that day.

“When I called her later Friday to inquire why she had taken long to arrive home, she said I shouldn’t worry, and that she’d be home soon. In the evening, her phone line was unreachable. I did not know where she had gone to, or what had happened to her,” said the mother.

On Tuesday, June 9. She received a call from Mbale Police Station asking her to go to the station because her daughter was seriously ill.

“I was shocked; I did not know how she got to Mbale in Vihiga County, a place that I, personally, had never set foot in. I was told that she met one of her defilers on Facebook.”

In her police report, the girl said she met one of the defilers — identified only as Vincent — on Facebook. She said he had invited her to his home in Mbale, a distance of 210 kilometers from Mbita.

“He told me to use my money to travel to his place, and that he will refund once I get there,” she said.

In Mbale, her host Vincent allegedly sexually assaulted her and kicked her out without giving her money to travel back home.

“While stranded, I met a boda boda rider, who promised to provide me with shelter for the night. He said that the following day, he will take me to Kisumu, where I will board a bus home. He took me to a lodging facility in Kakamega, where he defiled and stole my phone.

On returning to Mbale, I met another man, who took me to Vincent’s place. We found the door had been locked. The then-curfew deadline of 7 pm had passed. So, the man told me he would take me to his place, where I would spend the night. While at his home, he defiled me and kicked me out the following morning,” recounted the girl as quoted by K24 Digital.

The victim said a female Good Samaritan helped her seek medical treatment and file a report at Mbale Police Station on June 10.

She said despite knowing where her Facebook friend lives, she does not know his full name.

“I met the man on Facebook. His first name is Vincent, and the surname indicates he is of Luhya ethnicity. He invited me to Mbale, Vihiga County so that I know where he stays — Hekima area. I usually stay with my aunt. I told her that I was going to pay mum a visit and return on Sunday, June 14,” she said.

“I want this case to be pursued to the end. The men hurt me,” she added.

She identified her last defiler as one Davies, who “lives near Mbale High School”.

One of the suspects, David Nyangweso, has since been arrested and arraigned. He is being held in custody as investigations into the matter continue.

The girl sat her KCPE exams in 2017 and was staying with her aunt after failing to secure secondary school admission.

Fact:Domestic violence is practically the opposite of a “momentary loss of temper.” The abuser intentionally abuses. The abuse is an ongoing technique to enforce control.

False:If the offender is truly sorry and promises to change, the abuse is going to stop.
Fact:Apology and begging for forgiveness are deceptive methods used by abusers to control their victims. They rarely stop abusing. The abuse often gets worse as time goes on.

False:Domestic violence is mainly caused by drugs or alcohol.

False:The victim can opt out of the relationship.
Fact:Victims believe that they are hopeless and do not have any place to go where they will be safe from the abuser. The abuser often knows the victim’s friends and family members and can find a victim who leaves. It takes money, a support network, proper structure and time to ensure victim's escape.

False:Victims have the types of personalities that urge and encourage abuse.
Fact:Various studies have shown and determined that there are no set of personality traits that describe victims of abuse. It is the abuser who is responsible for the abuse, not the victim.
